Activities

What do we do? A lot!  Once you are a member, you are encouraged to attend as many activities as you like.  All events are kid friendly.  Here is an overview of the types of activities we provide:

Weekly

Playgroups: Right now, we host playgroups at least once or twice a month, but as we keep growing, we hope to have weekly playgroups with all mothers and children! Currently, our playgroups are scheduled each month at our All Member's Meetings.

Monthly

General Meetings: Our Chapter meetings once a month, typically either the first Monday or Wednesday of the month, depending on room availability. During a typical meeting there will be some club business usually followed by a speaker or special activity.

Moms Night Out:  One evening a month for moms to go out and enjoy each others company and participate in an activity together.  This could be a variety of different things.  If you have an idea on an event, let us know!

We hope to add more to this section once our club gets a little bit bigger!

Seasonal/Ongoing

Service Projects: Our club is required to participate in at least one community service project per year by International MOMS Club®.  We encourage all members to participate in community service hours.  This may be as simple as sending an email, filling a stocking for the a charity at Christmas time, volunteering a few hours at festivals, or serving on other community committees once we get things rolling.

Sunshine Greetings and Meals: When a member is having a birthday or is in need of a pick-me-up we send a greeting card letting them know we are here to support them.  When a new baby arrives or a family is in need, meals are provided for a small period of time.

Park Days: Casual gatherings initiated by one of the moms at a local park - an opportunity for kids to get a little exercise while Moms catch up with fellow members.  This would be outside the playgroup get together.

Seasonal Gatherings: These could be anything from making valentines for Valentine's Day, Christmas cards and ginger-bread houses.  The options are endless!
